| Suspect surrenders following SWAT standoff at southeast Austin apartment complex AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police say they are no longer working the disturbance in southeast Austin that broke out early Monday morning. The call came in around 5:05 a.m. in 1700 block of Nelms Drive. The department via Twitter announced the suspect exited the home without incident before noon.
