| Police looking for inmate who escaped from Tyler hospital Thursday Police are searching for Demedrick Hunter, a 31-year-old inmate in custody of the Van Police Department who fled from a Tyler hospital. Hunter was in police custody Thursday morning after being involved in an accident. Police say Hunter was then taken to a Tyler hospital where he escaped.
